Her career began as an economic consultant in the antitrust practice at Charles River Associates, where she conducted complex econometric analyses for multi-billion-dollar healthcare and media mergers, including work on a major healthcare transaction that received DOJ approval. She moved to FTI Consulting as a Business Transformation Consultant, leading process redesign engagements that eliminated thousands of labor-hours and delivered millions in cost savings for large healthcare and medical-device organizations.
Before joining LRVHealth, Lise Courtney held senior roles at ChenMed, ultimately serving as Chief of Staff and Senior Manager of Strategic Payer Partnerships. There, she managed direct relationships with major Medicare Advantage plans, negotiated value-based contracts, drove the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Stars quality initiatives, and built multi-year market expansion and payer strategies.
As a Principal at LRVHealth, Lise Courtney drives end-to-end sourcing, diligence, and underwriting of venture-stage healthcare companies, translating complex healthcare problems into clear investment and value-creation theses. She is an instrumental team member across multiple LRVHealth investments, partnering closely with founders and the firm’s Strategic Limited Partner network to evaluate market dynamics, buyer value, and scalable go-to-market strategies. Her thematic focus spans pharmacy and medication access infrastructure, data and AI platforms, payer technology, and value-based care enablement.
