Ellen Herlacher is a healthcare investor with a deep background in investment management, healthcare operations, and corporate strategy.

Before joining LRVHealth, Ellen served as Director of Tufts Health Ventures, the corporate development and investment arm of Tufts Health Plan, now Point32Health. In this role, she invested in and managed the plan's venture-stage portfolio, bringing the interests and weight of the plan to bear for a range of emerging companies. She also served as an innovation partner to leaders across the Tufts Health Plan enterprise, helping to build transformative partnerships between the plan and high potential entrepreneurs. Many of the areas of focus at Tufts, including new care delivery, population health management, and home health, continue to be spaces that Ellen leads today at LRVHealth.

Before her role at Tufts Health Ventures, she was Manager of Emerging Businesses at athenahealth, where she drove many of the company's business diversification efforts, including data commercialization strategies for life sciences and health plan administration. Earlier in her career, she built her analytical and financial foundation as a consultant at Bain & Company and as an Investment Manager at Goldman Sachs. 

As a Partner at LRVHealth, Ellen co-leads the firm’s research and investments in new care delivery, behavioral health, workforce transformation, and government-sponsored payors. She is a hands-on parter and trusted advisor to the entrepreneurs she works with, providing strategic guidance and helping companies navigate the complexities of the healthcare industry as they grow and scale. Ellen also works closely with LRVHealth’s strategic limited partners and co-leads a group of clinical leaders across the network, facilitating conversations around emerging innovation opportunities and exposing leaders to entrepreneurs and trends that can drive meaningful change within their organizations.
