Troyen Brennan is an Adjunct Professor at Harvard Chan School of Public Health.
Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for CVS Health and Aetna. Troyen has also been President of the Brigham and Women’s Physician Organization and held faculty positions at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard Chan School of Public Health. He is a former Chair of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the National Academy of Medicine. Troyen has published six books and over 600 articles, with his latest book, The Transformation of American Health Insurance (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2024).
