Karen Au Yeung has more than a decade of experience across healthcare strategy, growth, and operations.
She started her career in consulting at Oliver Wyman, spending more than eight years advising senior healthcare leaders across payer and provider organizations on growth, go-to-market, and cost containment.
Before joining LRVHealth, Karen was the VP of Corporate Strategy at Optum and UnitedHealth Group. She worked directly with the UHG C-Suite and with Optum and UHC business leaders to drive strategic and transformation initiatives across the enterprise, spanning pharmacy, technology, care delivery, and health plan.
At LRVHealth, Karen leads three core functions related to network and market intelligence, strategic partnerships, and portfolio value creation. She leads Strategic Limited Parter (SLP) engagement, sharing market insights and innovation trends to help SLPs shape their strategies while partnering with the network to turn insights into investment action. She also leads the firm’s market and network insights function, translating deep research and market intelligence into high-conviction investment theses. Finally, she oversees portfolio value creation, helping foster meaningful connections between portfolio companies and LRVHealth’s strategic network to drive health delivery and business outcomes.
